I met Micheline Ryckman at a family photo shoot my husband Chris and I booked with Ryckman Photography shortly after my second son, Thom was born. From the moment Micheline entered my home to do that photo shoot the two of us were laughing. I can’t recall what we were laughing about but it began within seconds of meeting her –honestly!

Turned out Mich and her husband, Shane lived a couple blocks from us. Her daughter Hannah was a year older than my oldest, Will. Her youngest, Hunter was a year older than Thom. So we hung out together in those early motherhood years and laughed.

Ten years later we produced our first book together, Miss Emily Goes to Bat. I authored, Mich illustrated. And currently we are working on two NEW colouring books which will be released this fall, 2013!
