You read that right – Whimsical is going to Narnia!

Our Whimsical Classic Collection is growing!

Whimsical is proud to present our exclusive edition of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. This edition is only available in our shop. You may recognize some of the artwork on both the dust jacket and hardcase as pieces previously designed by our own Micheline Ryckman.

The first 20 orders will receive the bookmark pictured below for free* (shipped separately). And if you buy during the preorder period, you’ll have the option to get your copy with gorgeous coppery metallic edges!
The sprayed edge option will only be available during the preorder period.

This is a PREORDER. Any items purchased with this book will be held and shipped together when this book is released on March 26, 2026.

When we decided to begin the Narnia collection, we went back and forth about whether to release these books in chronological or publication order… but to be true to Lewis’s stories, we chose publication order.

The Pevensie children open a door and enter Narnia, the land beyond the wardrobe, the secret country known only to Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy, the place where the adventure begins. Lucy is the first to find the secret of the wardrobe in the professor’s mysterious old house. At first, no one believes her when she tells of her adventures in the land of Narnia. But soon Edmund and then Peter and Susan discover the Magic and meet Aslan, the Great Lion, for themselves. In the blink of an eye, their lives are changed forever.

C.S. Lewis’s works are in the public domain in Canada and can be printed without copyright infringement.

For our Jane Austen fans, don’t fret! We still plan to finish her 6-novel collection. The remaining two books – Mansfield Park and Northanger Abbey – will be coming soon!

Are You Ready for A Churn in the (Virtual) Society?

You thought we were done!?

 Not quite yet! Grab your goggs, Belroy Boys and Babes, because we’re back to fill you in on what Micah was up to during Ezren and Foster’s adventures!

Virtual Society is blowing up. (Figuratively.)

When Micah Belanger saw the word “disputed” pop up after her beloved Belethea Race Royale team won the biggest race in ’verse, all of VSoc heard her shriek. Add in four attempted murders, and she’s on a (virtual) warpath to set the record straight—as any true fangirl would.

Lowell Coppen, of The Royaler Review, is also concerned with the murderous rumors behind the latest BRR, especially with warnings of a system-wide war rippling through VSoc. Determined to shed light on the truth, Lowell, a self-proclaimed objective voice, forges a begrudging alliance with Belethea’s most manic fangirl. If their secret arrangement comes to light, it’ll ruin them both, but if they don’t get the story right, the lies could bring Belethea to its knees.

And falling in love isn’t helping at all.

This Into the Churn novella will be released on September 16, 2025.

This will be the last story planned from our beloved Casolla system… but we never say never. Hayley could always get a spark of an idea for another story someday. But for now, look at how amazing the full spread looks together!

Due to some changes with the Canadian and US governments, we’ve made the decision to change all the prices in the shop (including shipping prices) to US Dollars. Since all shop orders ship from the US, this just made the most sense for the future of Whimsical.

What does this mean for you? Well, if you’re in the US, that means no more mental calculations of trying to figure out how much your order will be before PayPal converts it! What you see is what you’ll pay.

If you’re outside the United States, PayPal will automatically convert your total to your currency at checkout. If you are a UK customer, the conversion rate will still work out in your favor. For our Canadian customers, we’re sorry to do this, but it was just one of those necessary changes we needed to make for the business. We hope you understand and will continue to shop with us.
