Shop Policies, Shipping Details & TOS

Payment OPTIONS
We accept PayPal for payment (there is a credit card payment option through PayPal). If you do not have an account, you can use PayPal as a guest. This shop is all in US dollars. International currency exchange is processed automatically via PayPal.
Shipping practices and timeframes

Books:
For orders in the US, UK, or Australia, books are printed and shipped directly from our manufacturer. We have printers in the US, UK, and Australia. Your order will be sent from whichever one services your country the most efficiently.

Shipping from the manufacturer can take up to three weeks.

Fine Art Prints:
For orders in the US, prints are printed and shipped directly from our manufacturer.
For orders anywhere else in the world, prints will be sent from the manufacturer to our shop manager, who will pack and ship your order from the US.

Shipping from the manufacturer can take up to two weeks.

Postcards, Bookmarks, & Bookplates:
These items are shipped from our Shop Manager in the US. Orders are shipped within 7 business days of purchase.

Tracking
If you choose a TRACKED package option, you will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped. If you choose an untracked shipping method, no tracking will be sent.  Whimsical Publishing & Illustration will not be responsible for lost or stolen packages shipped under the NO TRACKING option.

Any item purchased with a preorder product will not ship until the preorder’s release date!

Please note that outside of the United States, buyers may be charged customs and duties. It is the responsibility of the buyer to look into their own country’s policies and fees and to pay accordingly.

US Media Mail is for books ONLY. If this option is chosen for orders containing anything besides books, your order will be cancelled and refunded, and you’ll need to re-order with one of the other shipping options.


Returns and exchanges

Unsatisfied/Changed Mind:
We will gladly refund you the cost of the item if you are unhappy with your purchase. Item(s) must be in a new and unused condition. Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense. We will refund you via PayPal after we have received the item and verified its condition. Refunds and/or exchanges are not offered for mystery items.

Incorrect Items:
If your order is incorrect, please email us at whimsicalbooks@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the incorrect item(s). If we verify there was a mistake with your order, we will provide you with a return shipping label to send the incorrect item(s) back and will send out the correct item(s) at no cost.

Lost/Damaged Items:
We can only provide replacements or refunds on tracked orders if you purchase insurance at checkout.
If your order arrives damaged, please email us at whimsicalbooks@gmail.com with your order number and photos of both the item and packaging. If your order is lost, please email us at whimsicalbooks@gmail.com with your order number, and we will investigate with the shipping carrier.

SHIPPING COSTS ARE NEVER ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND.
