For those who may not be familiar with Whimsical, or myself, I am Micheline Ryckman, owner, author, and illustrator of Whimsical Publishing & Illustration. I am a chronically ill, disabled artist who cannot work away from home. I rely on art commissions and art sales to make a living and support my family, so I feel the serious implications and threat that unethical AI image generators pose to real-life artists. Because of this, I wanted to do what I could to help. (I also get a lot of requests from people asking me for artist referrals, and this database is perfect for that too.)

I created this database so artists can share their talents and shops with potential clients/customers, who don’t want a machine made art.
