We’re continuing with our postcard liquidation clear-out, so if you’ve had your eye on any of our Lunar Chronicles designs, NOW is the time to snag them!

Code CINDER will take 30% off all Lunar Chronicles products, including the already discounted postcards! This makes them less than $1 each if you’re outside Canada.

As a reminder, the artwork itself is not being retired. You can still get any of Micheline’s designs as art prints, including the newly added 4×5″ size (comparable to the old postcard size).

The postcards are limited, so don’t wait if you want to snag this art for the cheapest it will EVER be!

We’ve also got a selection of Lunar Chronicles products in our Merch Shop! These items aren’t discounted since they are drop-shipped, but we’d love for you to check them out all the same!

Let Into the Fire Hype Season Begin!!!

We are at T minus 65 days until release on May 21st, the ARC reviews have been *awesome* so far, and we have so much more to share between now and launch day!

We’ll be kicking off with a READ ALONG and epic GIVEAWAY on Wednesday, March 20th so be sure to follow @whimsicalillustration and @hayleyreesechow if you’re not already! And we’ll have a special secret announcement on Saturday, March 23rd!

The read along will continue into April, along with some amazing art reveals, a very special giveaway, and a series of Micah’s off-season hololog updates. Then in May, we’ll have more Micah updates, more art reveals, and a jam-packed launch week with a map reveal, chapter one reading, a live author chat, the trailer release, and a live author launch party!

And!! If we reach 300 preorders there will also be a BONUS reveal!

 

In the meantime, don’t forget that Into the Fire preorders are live, ARC requests are open on Whimsical Publishing’s site, and Into the Churn is available on NetGalley!

IMPORTANT UPDATE & SALE!

Postcards in their current format are being DISCONTINUED! Don’t panic though! The artwork itself will still be available, just as a 4×5″ fine art print.

We know this may be disappointing to some, but this was just the best option moving forward for us as a company and we hope you’ll understand.

For the glossy postcards still in our on-hand inventory, they have been discounted to $1.50 CAD (which currently is $1.12 USD). No code needed! Once they’re gone, stock will not be replenished. Instead, they will be available as matte fine art prints. Still the same size so if you’re collecting, there will be no change in the sizing!

Also moving forward, we will be running monthly sales on fandom artwork until all remaining inventory is cleared out so be on the lookout for those!

Christmas Giveaway & What’s New in 2024!

What’s New for Whimsical in 2024?

First and foremost – a total brand redesign!

We wanted things to be a bit more cohesive, so we went for a total redesign of the Whimsical brand! The logo was designed by my daughter Hannah and we couldn’t be happier with the end result!

This means a minor change in how books are shipped. In the past whenever a book was purchased, we’ve included a bookmark or postcard that featured artwork directly related to the book. By the grace of God, Whimsical continues to grow and add new authors to our publishing house, so we came up with something a little different moving forward.

Now, we think a physical book should always have a bookmark (no dog-earing pages here! And if you do… shhh, don’t tell me!). So whenever you order a book from Whimsical Publishing directly, you’ll receive a beautiful double-sided bookmark featuring the design pictured below.

Speaking of rebranding, I also wanted to let you all know that TWO Whimsical titles will be getting a rebrand in 2024!

First up is my cozy fantasy Charting Stars.

There will be a redesigned cover, interior, plus content revisions and additional chapters as well. We are NOT restocking the old cover before this redesign. Stock numbers of each format are extremely limited (less than 5 of each), so if you have your heart set on this cover, order NOW! The Kindle version will still be available until the new version is released.

The second rebrand for 2024 is our grumpy-sunshine sci-fi romance Into the Churn

Nobody panic! I love Into the Churn (and its current cover) sooo much… BUT, the cover design for book two (INTO THE FIRE) is going in a much different direction and we know how much book lovers like things to match aesthetically. So we made the difficult decision to rebrand the cover of book 1 to match book 2!

We also know that many people already bought the first book and it’s unfair to them for the covers to change halfway through a series. (Hey, we get it, we’re readers too!) So, to balance things out, the design underneath the dust jacket of the Whimsical exclusive edition of INTO THE FIRE will match the original design of Into the Churn.

We will be phasing out the current stock of ITC so if you want one with the current cover design as shown above, we recommend ordering now!

It been busy though, (in all the best ways), so we’re a little pooped over here and we’re going be taking some time off until Boxing Day to enjoy home, family, and the holidays. 🎄🎉🎄 The shop will still be open for orders, but nothing will ship out until after Christmas now.
