We are delighted to welcome our newest staff member, Chelsea DeMalo! If you’ve seen Whimsical showing up more on Facebook, TikTok, or Threads, that’s thanks to Chelsea! She helps create and manage our social media posts and will also be helping authors with setting up events. We are SO excited to have her on the Whimsical team!

Chelsea lives in Southwestern Ontario with her husband, daughter, and feline child. Reading and writing have always been a big part of her life, and she often spent her days lost between the pages of a book or writing her own stories. She’s spent the last eight years in the Bookish community, and her TBR has grown by miles, as has her love for literature.

Aside from being a stay-at-home mom, Chelsea is currently working on her first full-length novel.
